A Story of Hopefulness “Please, hold on a little longer. We're almost there.” Andrey pushed the sled the last meter uphill, his wife and child both on it, wrapped up in pelts to keep them warm against the harsh Russian winter. February was the coldest month, and in the darkness the soldiers wouldn't be able to shoot right at them unless they got too close. “Anya is shivering. If we don't hurry she might not make it.” Andrey's wife, Tasha, called back to him. The worry in her voice was evident. Just like it always had been, when the matter of the discussion was their daughter. With one last push, Andrey heaved the sled forward and jumped on, as it descended down the hill towards the harbour in Königsberg. Travelling on Prussian ground was a danger, but it was their only chance.A Story of Hopefulness by ~WrathChild22
They had married young, only twenty- and twenty-two years of age respectively. It had been in the summer two years earlier, and Andrey could remember how beautiful she had looked in her weddin

Norway caught me off guard with that, I wasn't expecting him to notice my heavy boots and thick coat.
“... It might begin to storm.” I don't want this conversation. In fact, I'd rather be left alone now. But I have this feeling that Norway won't go away now. I might have known him for centuries, but that doesn't make him less of an innuendo for me to figure out.
“We can control our people to a certain extent, but not our weathers. Do you really think England would want rain every day of the year?” Norway is in that mood today, it seems.
I shrug it off, trying to tell him that I want to be left alone by body language. He takes his seat opposite of mine at the table. “If you think I'm going to leave you alone when you need company the most, you are poorly mistaken, Sve.”
“You're not obliged to spend time with me, Nor.”
“We are practically married.”
My Best FriendA best friend, someone you can talk to about anything and everything, someone who you can share secrets with, a shoulder to cry on.My Best Friend by ~WrathChild22
A best friend wouldn't judge you for making mistakes, and they wouldn't abandon you if you did something wrong and you desperately needed them. A best friend is someone to rely on. A best friend is someone to laugh with.
A best friend is someone who could always make you smile, someone who'd never fail to make you happy. A best friend is someone who you can fight with one day, and the next you both hug and say sorry, because you both know how stupid you were, and you don't want to lose each other.
When I think about my best friend, I come to realize just how lonely I am, and I sometimes wonder how I can go through all of the small things that together have the power to break me down from the inside.
Truth is, I don't have a best friend, and I wonder if I have any friend at all. It is tough to go through harsh times alone, and to not have anyone to talk to.

and possibly rhyme it with dove
But I have to admit
that the subject don't fit
And I ought to slap you with a glove
There once was a Crow and a Dove
and the two were so deeply in love
But the Crow was a movie
and the Dove preferred Scooby
So she was sent flying above
A woman was sitting all alone
when she got a call on the phone
She started to pout
when she heard her husband shout
"For goodness sake, Gertrude, come home!"
